After the heartbreaking loss of one of his dogs, Rand was determined to find a wonderful new buddy for his dog Bentley. Sweet River needed a new home as his breeder could no longer keep this wonderful and highly awarded dog. So to Rand he came for much love and affection! River had only been with Rand for one day and look how comfortable he already was! That is River on the left with his beautiful apricot coloring and Bentley, his new best friend and co-trouble maker on the right!
I am back with this week’s blog post where I have again joined up with other pet photographers from the Beautiful Beasties Network to collectively challenge ourselves with a weekly assignment. This week’s assignment is Bloopers! Well this was perfect timing for bloopers as I photographed 40 pups and their owners on Sunday in support of NorCal Poodle Rescue and there were a zillion bloopers! Here are just a few!
Next up is Los Angeles Area Pet Photographer – Spotty Nose . Click on the links at the bottom of each post and follow the blog circle back to here! Have fun!
What a blast! On Sunday I photographed 40 assorted poodles, doodles, and other pups all in support of the wonderful non-profit rescue group – NorCal Poodle Rescue. They do such wonderful work and it was my pleasure to give them all a lovely portrait of their furballs with all proceeds going to help save more poodles!
Handsome Harmon was in the house (ok the studio) for his own special photo shoot and I fell in love! His foster mom thinks he is about ready for his forever home so watch for his listing shortly at the Contra Costa Humane Society! He is a chihuahua – terrier mix and is FULL OF LOVE!! Won’t you let him dance into your heart?
Semi is a most special dog. He is 10 and while blind since he was 5, still enjoys all the wonders of life! Meeting a new friend, high-fives, sitting in his favorite place in front of the fireplace, off leash walks with Mom and sniffing for anything new in the air! I was so honored to be able to capture him in so many of his favorite activities and places. During his off-leash walks he checks in with Mom with a gentle touch of her hand. One of the last photos I took during our time together caught this simple gesture and the love between them really moved me.
