This week I selected the topic, which is bloopers!  I think mixing cameras, sometimes nervous owners, goofy pets, strange surroundings and funny noises creates the ‘perfect storm’ of possibilities for bloopers.  As this Project 52 is dedicated to Jack and Julie, here is my sad attempt at getting an action shot of both pups in the studio using my remote trigger. Fine job here!!

Blooper JJ

My favorite set of bloopers came a few weeks ago when 15 cats came to my studio for their own adoption photos for Umbrella of  Hope.  We wanted to attempt an image where one whole family of mom and her kittens would be in one shot.  I knew that was next to impossible, so I put my camera on a tripod, set the focus and did not touch any settings while I first photographed mom on the top, then three kittens in the top drawer and finally four kittens in the bottom.  Here are just a few of the bloopers from that fun session!

Fortunately there were some with them all looking the same way and thanks to the magic of compositing in Photoshop, here you have the Dr. Who Litter!

Now it is time to have some fun and see bloopers from other pet photographers.  Follow the blog circle and click on the links at the bottom of each post until you end up back here!  First up is Kathryn Schauer Photography in  New Haven, Connecticut.  Enjoy!
